Stopping Fear
Since that awful day in 2001, I’ve been very clear about one thing. Fear is a weapon. Those who seek to control us, the people, wield fear as a weapon to control our reaction, our attention and pervert our American values. But what is fear, really?
When our survival mode kicks in due to physical threat, fear is real and grounded. It may keep us alive. I’ve felt fearful around violent or intoxicated people...a remnant of childhood when my survival seemed at risk. But this is a very different fear from imagining a violent incident or out-of-control situation. This type of fear is ungrounded. The country has been hit by two terrorist attacks in less than one week. Both incidents were effected by Americans, domestic terrorism. One seemed to be inspired by ISIS the other inspired by domestic ideology.

Community Involvement

The Coffee Party USA website continues to grow. One of our goals this year was to expand to local communities better. The website now includes a list of social media pages that now exist. The intent is to bring people together in more local communities and give a place to interact with their neighbors.
We do this hoping to expand our mission and to help our communities hold elected officials accountable. We want ideas and help from all of our local members and volunteers. Please join us.
