It's one of the most important aspects of Coffee Party USA and how we attempt to model behavior that we'd like to see in everyone. Since most of Coffee Party's supporters are on Facebook, I interact with a lot of people there. Recently I posted about how the media covers the frivolous instead of the substantive and asked people not to watch mainstream media. The example I used was the "Ted Cruz is a Canadian" coverage. Of course, this brought out many people who wanted to talk about Ted Cruz instead of the mainstream media. Election 2015The Clock is Ticking on Coffee Party Elections!Coffee Party USA is looking for dedicated member and volunteers who would love to be involved with Coffee Party leadership. Voting MembersTo VOTE in our upcoming election, you must become a dues-paying member by March 31, 2015. You can be a monthly member HERE or an annual member HERE. You must still be a member in good standing in June in order to vote. Election CommitteeWe are still accepting emails of interest for Election Committee members. We will accept up to six members to work with two Board members on reviewing candidate applications and conducting applicant interviews. The total commitment should be 12-15 hours in April and May. To SERVE on the Elections Committee, you must be a dues-paying member. If you would like to serve on this committee, please email[email protected]. Applicants for OfficeTo APPLY for candidacy, you must become a dues-paying member AND participate in a work group by March 31, 2015. You can volunteer for a work group HERE.
