Join Coffee Party USA and many other #GetMoneyOut organizations for a rally on January 21 — the fifth anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court lump of coal known as Citizens United — to deliver democracy right to the Chamber’s doorstep.
Hundreds of activists will gather in Lafayette Park in Washington, DC to shed light on the Chamber of Commerce’s attacks on our democracy, our jobs, and our environment.
In 2014, the Chamber spent $31 million on the midterm elections to ensure its favorite candidates got into office, assisting in making 2014 the most expensive midterm in history.
While we continue making progress toward economic and social justice in this republic's democracy, we must remain vigilant about other forces that are corrupting our elections for the sake of corporate profits.
