The traditional corporate driven mainstream media relay the news they deem appropriate to the masses. It is for this reason that Americans know little about the plight of their own neighbors let alone the plight of our international neighbors. We will change that.

Americans are kept in a controlled space. The masters control what they want us know, what they want us to learn, and from whom they want us to learn it.

With the advent of social media the pendulum could potentially be swung in the direction of the masses, in the direction of us all. We can now consume the news we want and relay our own unfiltered information as opposed to it being filtered through a corporate prism for mass consumption.

It is for this reason corporations are still fighting to dismantle Net Neutrality. An Internet open to all means a real free citizenry that is not controlled by the plutocracy, the oligarchs, and the titans of finance. Everybody has a voice irrespective of their ideology, creed, race, ethnicity, or culture.

At Coffee Party we want your voice heard. Our social media network is vast and growing. It represents all that is America, the good, the bad, the loud, the obnoxious, the passive, the active, the engaging, the timid, the intellectual, the smart, the not so smart, the Democrat, the Republican, the Independent, the Green, the Socialist, and everyone in between.

The corporate media generally have talking heads that claim they are speaking for the American people. Politicians are out there doing the same. In today’s world we can speak for ourselves and get our own message out.
