Guns in the home serve no useful purpose. We need Australian like laws for guns. When the Second Amendment was written, people had muzzle loaders, not semi-automatic rifles with copper jacketed rounds and banana clips. Thousands of people that killed themselves or someone close to them would still be walking around if you had to show a useful purpose to own a gun of any kind.
