First you need to educate yourself. 1. Civilian guns are not Automatic. They are semi-automatic. They shoot ONE bullet at a time, unlike military assault weapons. They may look like an assault weapons, but they are not. As for the 2nd Amendment. Yes it was put there for a VERY good reason. To protect us from an out of control government. 3. Yes the person with the gun is the problem. But, even without a gun people are killing in mass numbers. What happened was horrific, but not a reason to punish a nation. What you do not know because you trust the media too much is that everyday there are incidents which occur where a civilian saved someone or many people because they have a legal right to own a gun. I head of 4 just today. The police are not going to be there the instance an idiot or mentally ill idiot opens fire. Would you rather wait for the police to arrive or be happy if someone just happened to be carrying a gun under the 2nd amendment? Have you noticed that all the mass killings have been committed in a gun free zone? Do some real home work and we can talk.
