Possibly by fumblers who never practice shooting, or buy a gun and either never shoot it at all or shoot a few rounds, then set it in a drawer. Those are the dangerous types who might be prone to have an accident. Even cops can do this too, with all their training. One here shot himself in the leg twice playing quick draw in the station!
