Bravo. Great summary of our collective concerns. I think there are things we can do to help the POTUS. We can demand campaign finance reform, tax code reform, and Wall Street reform of our Congressional delegations as well. We can collectively boo actions like gerrymandering and “pork” stuck to meaningful legislation. This is a lovely response to his inaugural cry to “we, as citizens….” Thanks.

I just can’t help but think that if the super-wealthy really knew what they were doing, the world would not be in a state of economic chaos. The fact that it is points to finding new leadership, not to continuing to listen to those that manipulated circumstances to what they are today. The people need to speak up.

Thank you for clicking^^^ :) You are probably asking, What is the Coffee Party Endowment fund?

Great Question! First Let me tell you what we are doing and why we are raising money for our endowment. You see the Coffee Party has been growing and at a particularly fast rate. Since we are in need of working capital like all organizations, we realized that just having donations to work with really was not the way to grow the coffee party movement long term. In fact the needs of the organization grow exponentially as people join it since events, media, materials, staff, etc etc can be extremely expensive!

This is why we realized a need for a Coffee Party endowment. This is a fund that earns interest so we can spend that interest on you without touching your principle donation. Your generosity would be put into this fund with other major donors to facilitate a large enough interest to pay for the coffee parties inherent costs.

This gives us a great opportunity to provide our chapters and groups with everything from media, promotional materials, and even money for hosting and promoting events in your home town, and as we are a not-for-profit it is essential to raise this in order to keep our foundation on solid ground. We look forward to the days when we no longer have to ask anyone for donations so please do us a solid and give generously. I promise your donation will be safe, sound, and untouched so it earns financial interest for future expenses.
