Survivor of Trickle-down Economics Story 2: Annetta Bunce

I've worked hard all my life. I worked 50 hours weeks babysitting at age 12 all summer long. I work my way through College and my husband through school. I've loved every job I have had. I absolutely loved my job working with Special needs children, especially with one of my own, until I became too ill to work. Since I had taken time off when my children were small and needed me, 2 preemies and one Autistic son, I was just under what I needed for disability.

My Husband love helping people and wanted to be a cop since he was young. Unfortunately after 18 years in the field, he works for the lowest paid department in the state. Utah doesn't rank high as a whole for pay. It is very usual for Troopers or officers to NEED food stamps to survive.

We have worked so much harder than these  CEOs and other millionaires and yet we worry about having enough food on the table. It's time the politicians started working for the people they represent and the future of the Country, the backbone of the nation, not those who pay them for their votes.  Please regain your honor and see the REALITY of the majority of the people of the nation.
