A Message To Our Members
Tim Danahey, Coffee Party USA Director of Public and Member Relations
Rarely is a political campaign littered with such questionable characters as we are experiencing today. No matter your political point of view, there is someone certain to assault your sensibilities. Board Development Group Report
Leah Spitzer, Board Development Work Group Chair
The Board Development Work Group is gearing up again for our annual Board of Directors Election. The Election will be held from June 21-25 by ballot sent to our members’ emails. To vote, you must be a member as of January 1, 2016.
We have made a few changes and this year, candidates must be dues paying members and part of our active volunteer force as of January 1, 2016. We are excited about this change and feel it will bring forward leadership that is ready to hit the ground running, with a working knowledge of our tools, our culture, and our goals.
Being a part of the leadership of the Coffee Party has its benefits. You can help guide the future of the Coffee Party, hone your leadership skills and have fun at the same time.
Positions up for Election this year are Treasurer, Director of Newsroom, Director of Development/Fundraising, and Director of Community Outreach (Local Chapters). If you’d like to apply for candidacy, click here. ... Coffee Party On!
Tell us what story or subject you want us to cover or research
Egberto Willies Coffee Party Director, Newsroom
Coffee Party USA has been bringing on new volunteers to our Newsroom team. Our goal is to cover news that is important to you but not covered, correct misinformation, or research stories and issues that the mainstream media have left behind.
The election season is upon us. Coverage is generally neither accurate or fair. More importantly, much of the country is ignored. Be the media. Do you have a story that needs to be told? Do you have a story that is not being covered? Drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to get it covered. Better yet, write the truthful, accurate, fact-based story in your words and send us a link. We will likely put it on one of our Coffee Party high traffic Facebook pages after it is verified.
