Don't you wish political candidates were asked real questions about the big issues? Or, that they provided thoughtful, well-researched answers that haven't been polled or practiced?
Today on The Bottom Line I'll be interviewing Ken Pentel, a Minnesota icon, and a past (and perhaps future) candidate for governor. I'm going to ask him some real questions! Maybe you can call in and help me:

Ken has been active in politics and activism for many years. In our last election, 2010, he helped found a new political party, the Ecology Democracy Party, offering innovative solutions addressing the biggest problems, rather than pretending they don’t exist.
Tune in also because I'll be giving my report on yesterday's Coffee Party Week event! As the host of the event, I got to meet and get to know some of the coolest people in the Twin Cities area, and one man who drove all the way from Wisconsin! If you also attended a National Coffee Party Week event, please call in and tell us about it.
Finally, our on-line newsletter needs more content from smart people who know the score — people like you! All you have to do is seek the truth and share it when you find it. It's very easy to join our "Be the Media" campaign. We made a video about it, and there are instructions here.
We must become creators of media content, not just recipients of media content, to respond to political advertisements and political advertisements disguised as "news."
Most Sincere,
Jess
