The 1st Annual COFFEE PARTY NATIONAL CONVENTION will be September 24-26 in Louisville, KY.
Since we launched in March, we have built the Coffee Party from an unprecedented Internet phenomenon to a viable grassroots movement of over 350,000 people across the country and a dynamic virtual town hall on Facebook that averages 4 million post views per day.
Now we need your help to take the Coffee Party to the next level. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of August.
Your donations will support our initiatives including the convention, direct advocacy for fair elections and campaign finance reform, and a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote campaign for the mid-term elections.
For our convention, we have invited influential political figures, thinkers, and community organizers to join us. Confirmed participants currently include:

- Mark McKinnon communication strategist for John McCain and George W. Bush
- Lt. Dan Choi, Iraq War veteran, and equal justice advocate

More than anything, this is our chance to meet one another face-to-face and create a solid foundation for our organization and strategize about how we will achieve our goals.
Three other notes about the convention:
- Early registration ends August 31st.
- We've created a forum so participants can set up ride-sharing and roommates to cut costs
