Join a Coffee Party “Café Call” on Money and Politics

We would like to invite you to join us in a phone conversation on Corporate Personhood and Money in Politics, as part of the National Coffee Summit that starts tomorrow.

Using the dynamic and collaborative “world cafe conversational process,” plus innovative Maestro Conference technology, this series of “Café Calls” will bring diverse groups of people together to discuss the Summit’s issues.   It’s an exciting way to engage a large number of people in a single conversation in which everyone’s contribution is heard and valued.

Three Café Calls have been scheduled:
  • Sunday, June 13th, 2-4pm Eastern / 11am-1pm Pacific
  • Monday, June, 14th 10am-12pm Eastern / 7-9am Pacific
  • Tuesday, June 15th, 6-8pm Eastern / 3-5pm Pacific

Reflecting our desire for the Coffee Party to be a “big tent” that is welcoming to people from across the political spectrum, we will be using a short survey to get a sense of the basic political demographics of the people signing up for the calls. We will then draw selectively from the overall pool of respondents in an effort to have the perspectives of each group mirror the views country as a whole.

We look forward to your joining us in these conversations.   Space on the calls is limited, however. If we can’t fit you in this time around, we will be sure to invite you to join us for future Café Calls as well.
