Local Fundraising Policy
Local Coffee Party groups are not legally affiliated at this time and are not authorized to raise funds as Coffee Party USA. We will create a formal Chapter structure and a detailed policy covering fund-raising in the coming weeks. To meet short-term financial needs at the local level, such as posters and copying, we recommend to local organizers passing a hat in the following manner to maintain transparency: “I spent $12 on posters and copying. Here is my receipt. I’m passing a hat for anyone who wants to contribute.”
